CLINICAL INFORMATION SYSTEMS SPEC II

The Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine is seeking a Clinical Information Specialist II to perform technical functions in support of clinical services and administrative operations.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Responsible for the development, design, installation and maintenance of a departments networked computers.
• Assume sole responsibility as the systems or network administrator .
• Manages the technical aspects of the system/network.
• Provides user support by troubleshooting PC and Network problems, as well as acts as a liaison with personnel who operate the University Backbone Network .
• May supervise other technical support personnel, such as Computer Technicians and Information System Specialist I performing routine maintenance, repair, troubleshooting or PC/Network operations duties

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Work Characteristics

• Previous IT experience (networking, installation, maintenance, and service support
• Previous experience in a healthcare environment is preferred
• Responsibilities include network administration, installation processes, and technical repairs. Seeking a candidate committed to exceptional service delivery and best practices.

Salary Range: $47,665-$77,455

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
• And three (3) years of related experience required. Work experience may substitute for education requirement.
