HUMAN RESOURCES PARTNER ADMINISTRATOR
The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) seeks a dedicated Human Resources Administrator to support HR-related programs within the Division of Hematology and Oncology and the Human Resource Partner. In this dynamic role, you will work within a designated college, school, department, division, center, or institute, collaborating closely with the Office of Human Resources to streamline and improve HR processes. As the key liaison to the Office of Human Resources and/or the Dean’s office, you will manage various administrative HR functions for staff and faculty recruitment, ensuring the smooth coordination of human resources actions and the accurate processing of related paperwork.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Administer HR programs and projects to support faculty, staff, and international recruitment, including faculty credentialing
- Submit ACT and NRE documents and support all HR functions within the division
- Serve as the main point of contact between assigned units and the Office of Human Resources or Dean’s office for HR-related matters
- Coordinate HR actions within your department, ensuring proper documentation and timely processing
- Serve as Kronos approver
- Support administrative HR tasks, including employee records management, onboarding, and compliance with institutional policies
- Collaborate with team members to resolve issues and improve HR processes within your assigned area
- Performs other duties as assigned
Hourly Wage: $19.80-$32.15
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field and one (1) year of related experience required. Work experience may substitute for education experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference is given to those who have UAB Oracle experience
