Pay Range: $29.25 - $47.55 / hour

Job Description:
To provide and manage patient care in a clinical area for specific age and patient populations. To implement technologist-specific duties. To utilize critical thinking skills in the evaluation of care and the triage of patients. To display good rapport and professionalism with all customers and members of the multidisciplinary healthcare delivery team. To plan and organize activities. To demonstrate good communication skills. To maintain productive interpersonal relationships. To react appropriately under stressful situations. To teach and direct others. To thoroughly and accurately document patient and test information. To enter test information into computer, interpret and print results. To make all necessary copies for disbursement and correctly enter information on charge ticket using the appropriate ICD-9 and CPT codes.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required. Currently Registered Vascular Technologist/Sonographer required or registry eligible. Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certificate from American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) must be obtained within 6 months of hire. Current CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
