Compensation:
Pay Range: $52,555 - $85,400.00

Duties:
To function as a novice specialist for analysis, design, implementation and support of technology resources within the healthcare work environment. To combine clinical experience with a growing knowledge of current technologies to help translate business needs into technical solution. To perform various duties in the system life cycle to support the successful inplementation of healthcare technologies that achieve customer goals. To commit to fostering an environment of heightened security, following Information Technology Security Policies and participating in security training, such as Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act (HIPAA) and Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), on an annual basis.
Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Nursing or a related field and two (2) years of experience in direct patient care and two (2) years electronic medical record experience. One (1) year work experience with UAB preferred. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. Currently licensed in the area of clinical specialty by the State of Alabama.
