Description
The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) is seeking an INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY CONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR to assist in administering contracts and/or licensing agreements relating to the purchase of IT related equipment. To administer and monitor software and hardware licensing agreements, and other IT related agreements. To distribute software as requested in accordance with agreements. To assist in review of IT contracts. To manage procurement as related to IT contracts including routing of contracts to UAB Financial Affairs and processing payment requisitions related to contract payments. To monitor and deliver software licenses as requested in accordance with site license and/or volume purchase agreements as submitted. To maintain records of delivery of software for billing purposes and to remain in compliance with agreements. To provide Tier 1 support and/or services for licenses supported. To act as liaison to vendors and UAB Financial Affairs on behalf of UAB IT.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Monitors and delivers software licenses as requested in accordance with site license and/or volume purchase agreements as submitted. Maintains records of delivery of software for billing purposes and to remain in compliance with agreements.
2. Provides Tier 1 support and/or services for licenses supported.
3. Assists in review of IT contract agreements, and routes agreements for internal approval and to UAB Financial Affairs for final approval and official signature.
4. Maintains repository and database of executed IT agreements for future reference and to ensure initiation of timely renewals. May process payment requisitions in accordance with agreements.
5. Works with departments to initiate contract renewals in a timely manner.
6. Serves as liaison between UAB IT and vendors to compile required documents needed to route for signature.
7. Works with UAB Financial Affairs for final approval of agreements and to ensure adherence to processes and guidelines set in UAB Policy and Procedures.
8. Performs other duties as assigned.
(Annual Salary: $52,555 - $85,400)
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field and five (5) years of related experience required. Work experience may substitute for education requirement.
