PROJECT ADMINISTRATOR: OFFICE OF ADVANCEMENT

The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) seeks a Project Administrator to work in the Office of Advancement with the Advancement Careers and Advancement Services teams. This position will provide administrative, logistical, and business support services for assigned units within the Office of Advancement. This position will support the Director of Advancement Careers, Advancement Executive Director of Administration and Fiscal Affairs, and hiring managers in organizing and executing hiring documents and onboarding materials specific to the Office of Advancement. This position will communicate with potential hires to conduct campus interviews.
This position will also support the Assistant Vice President for Advancement Services in organizing and tracking tasks and projects within Advancement Services, including onboarding & training activities. They will also act as an administrative liaison for other leadership in Advancement Services when necessary.
This position works closely with the other members of the Advancement Office. The Project Administrator will report directly to the Director of Advancement Careers and the Assistant Vice President for Advancement Services in the Office of Advancement.
This position is a full-time on-campus position.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Organize and coordinate candidate communication regarding interviews for positions across the department
- Coordinates and schedules candidate interviews for all positions
- Coordinate new hire onboarding meetings, materials, and training for all new hires across the department
- Organize, track, and prepare project materials for Advancement Services’ leadership
- Track, organize, and prepare reports for Advancement Services’ projects and milestones using Asana and other internal tools
- Performs other duties as assigned
Annual Salary Range: $41,175-$46,000
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field and two (2) years of related experience required; work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
