Description
The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) is seeking a REGIONAL ADMISSIONS COUNSELOR (TEXAS) to serve as a field representative in student recruitment efforts for the university. To meet enrollment objectives by building, managing and maintaining a recruitment territory in a designated regional location. To serve as the primary contact with local high school guidance counselors and coordinate recruiting efforts with local alumni chapters.
Responsibilities:
- Implements comprehensive recruitment campaigns to attract students to UAB.
- Schedules and organizes student recruitment events and activities. Prepares and conducts presentations for high school groups, college fairs, and other events to encourage and promote enrollment.
- Gathers and analyzes data and prepares descriptive, statistical, and evaluative reports related to student recruitment for designated geographical area.
- Establishes and maintains relationships with local high school counselors, faculty, and staff to facilitate student enrollment.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field and four (4) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. Currently licensed with a U.S. Driver's License required.
