To create digital assets for marketing campaigns that are visually compelling and optimized for user experience across all digital devices and platforms. To understand the digital landscape and take a user-centered design approach. To have familiarity with programming languages such as HTML and CSS and to design mock-ups and wireframes. To pivot quickly and take feedback and direction to create or revise a marketing campaign. To understand the UAB brand and to ensure all assets adhere to the UAB brand guidelines. This position is required to keep abreast of best practices in the field and remain up-to-date on current trends and new technologies. This position should anticipate change and ensure the organization is positioned to succeed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Creates compelling digital assets for marketing campaigns, including static and interactive advertising units, websites and landing pages, emails and social media.
• Understand the digital landscape and take a user-centered design approach when developing digital assets.
• Understands programming languages such as HTML and CSS, and designs mock-ups and wireframes.
• Researches digital and user experience trends.
• Understands the UAB brand and ensures all assets adhere to UAB brand guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Salary Range: $51,270 - $75,000

Bachelor's degree in a related field and two (2) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
