PROGRAM DIRECTOR II

This position will also be the School's liaison for the centralized application system, SOPHAS, attend national admissions directors calls, and attend other school-wide, university-wide, or admissions related events. Tailored communication skills, Evaluation of effectiveness of unit, Decisions to alter workflow and assignments as needed. To process, compile, categorize, calculate, tabulate, audit, analyze, and/or verify admissions information or data. This position requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and exceptional communication skills to foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for future public health leaders.

Key Duties and Primary Responsibilities:

• 20%: To direct day-to-day operations of graduate admissions and scholarships at the UAB School of Public Health (SOPH)
• 20%: To develop and maintain industry standards in graduate enrollment management, including admissions requirements, review strategies, and communications. To manage Office Services Specialist
• 20%: To manage scholarship committee, scholarship budget allocation, determine awardees of scholarships, and ensure compliance in our practices
• 10%: Provides technical information, advice, counseling, and guidance to students, staff, and faculty that require extensive knowledge of policies and procedures within the School of Public Health, the Graduate School, and the University
• 10%: Organizes events such as Graduation Celebrations, Information Sessions, New graduate student orientation, for the Public's Health, and more
• 10%: Prepares recurring annual and ad hoc reports as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Salary Range: $65,835-$98,855

Bachelor's degree in a related field and five (5) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement
