Description

Position Summary:

The Admin Associate role will keep the Chair's calendar up to date, responds to routine emails, arrange travel, maintains the Chair's office and helps the Chair apply for grants by budgeting for grants, filling out routine forms for grant applications and interfacing with the School and the Department regarding grant applications. The assistant keeps the Chair updated on all routine administration related to his laboratory such as renewal of appointments in the lab and the monthly update of the lab-budget (include reconciliation of grants account).

The assistant also helps to keep the Chair's laboratory organized, onboarding new lab members when they arrive, interfacing with housekeeping when necessary, ordering supplies/equipment for the lab and meeting administrative obligations, interface with the EA and Senior Business Officer to establish well organize chair's office.

Salary Range: $18.35 - $29.80

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field and one (1) year of related experience required or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
