Position Summary:

To assist in the development of a communication strategy for UAB that will enhance its image to internal and external publics. To promote UAB through the development of news releases and other media materials and through participation in marketing and public relations projects. To supervise staff. This position is required to keep abreast of best practices in the field and remain up-to-date on current trends and new technologies. This position should anticipate change and ensure the organization is positioned to succeed.

Salary Range: $70,425 - $77,250

Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Media Relations, Broadcast Communications, Journalism, Mass Media or related field and five (5) years experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
