The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), Department of OB/GYN - Maternal & Fetal Medicine is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator I.

General Responsibilities

• To collect and record preliminary data for clinical research programs.
• To recruit and perform follow-up with research participants as protocols outline.
• To schedule visits according to research protocols.
• To assist in coordination of lab and fieldwork.
• To maintain familiarity with appropriate Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and regulations.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

1. Coordinates and prepares for meetings.
2. Drafts, edits, and finalizes letters of support/recommendation.
3. Supports in grant documentation management, record/file management, calendar management, financial reimbursement/requisition management, and event planning.
4. Conducts reminder calls for scheduled appointments.
5. Reschedules missed appointments.
6. Schedules study specific procedures.
7. Assists with maintaining updated patient contact information.
8. Performs other duties as assigned.

Annual Salary Range: $41,175 - $66,915

• High School diploma or GED required.

• Knowledge of Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
