Job Summary

The Cushion Filler is responsible for filling pillows and cushions using various methods including filling machines, tools or by hand.

Essential Job Duties

1. Pairs up fillers to covers and then matches up with the correct frame.
2. Ensures production floor is stocked with cushions for orders.
3. Fills pillows and cushions with materials according to order details using filling machine or metal rod.
4. Estimates amount of filler blown into cover by either timing blower or weighing pillows or cushions.
5. May stuff covers by hand.
6. Receives supplier deliveries.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior production or warehouse work preferred.
• Active listening and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work well with a team as well as independently.
• Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills required.
