Job Summary
Essential Job Duties
1. Reads and interprets production/job tickets to determine specifications.
2. Assembles frames at the workstation using pneumatic and manual tools, such as a chop saw and band saw.
3. Retrieves necessary frame parts.
4. Glues, fits, and clamps parts to sub-assemble to form a complete frame.
5. Handles multiple projects quickly, accurately, and efficiently to meet deadlines while adhering to quality standards.
Additional Job Duties and Responsibilities
• Other duties as assigned.
What you'll do
- Assemble furniture frames using power and hand tools
- Read production tickets and measurements accurately
- Work efficiently while maintaining quality and safety standards
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Some Furniture and/or Upholstery manufacturing experience preferred.
• One or more years of frame building experience preferred.
• Knowledge of wood-working and frame assembly.
• Ability to accurately read measurements.
• Communication proficiency.
• Time Management Skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to use a hand truck/dolly.
• Good attendance and demonstrated work ethic required.
