Job Summary


The Raw Material Handler I is responsible for moving material through the Production area and working under the direct supervision of the Raw Materials Handler Team Leader.

Essential Job Duties

1. Assists in the unloading of inbound raw material;
2. Moves material to specified locations, as directed by the Raw Materials Handler Team Leader;
3. Removes scrap from the production floor.

Additional Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Assists in additional housekeeping duties for the department, including dusting and mopping as needed to ensure safety;
• Any other duties as assigned by the Raw Materials Handler Team Leader.

Expected Hours of Work

• Hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. with expected overtime during peak periods for February through September.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities


• High school diploma or equivalent required;
• Good written and verbal communication skills;
• Basic math skills;
• Ability to follow direction and work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment;
• Good attendance and demonstrated work ethic required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee works indoors. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high with alternating periods of moderate to high stress. There is some exposure to temperature extremes and dust in the warehouse/plant environment.
