Job Summary
The Sewer - Upholstery is responsible for producing high‑quality pillows and cushions in alignment with production schedules, patterns, and brand standards. This role focuses on precision sewing, consistent craftsmanship, and attention to detail while supporting efficient production flow. The position also includes routine sewing machine adjustments, maintaining an organized work area, and rotating between sewing stations as needed to meet business demands.

Essential Job Duties
- Sew a variety of pillows, cushions, and related upholstery components according to assigned work orders and production schedules
- Operate industrial sewing machines and perform routine adjustments, including changing feet, folders, thread, spools, and bobbins
- Inspect sewn items throughout the process to ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe sewing area, including housekeeping during repair and maintenance periods
- Rotate to different sewing stations or assist with related tasks as production needs change
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support team and production goals

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of three (3) years of sewing experience required, preferably in an upholstery or manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated ability to perform leather, surge, and double‑needle sewing
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions, patterns, and documentation
- Strong hand‑eye coordination with a high level of attention to detail
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
