Job Description:

At Regions, the Enterprise Risk Management Function Manager is responsible for ensuring that risk management is effectively implemented and executed within the business through collaboration as a subject-matter expert and providing input on business and/or product decisions.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Creates risk assessments and focuses on testing assessments before implementation within Enterprise Risk
  • Remediates MRAs and builds quality programs based on the guidelines
  • Monitors, evaluates, and remediates enterprise risk/loss events including root cause analysis and process improvement
  • Analyzes new business initiatives/projects and manages risk-related changes
  • Assists in the design of new risk management tools and systems
  • Contributes to an environment of process improvement
  • Obtains and maintains necessary training related to applicable Enterprise Risk Management programs
  • Communicates, influences and collaborates with business leaders at all levels to foster relationships and gain consensus from a broad audience to accomplish risk management objectives
  • May assist senior management with high level strategy development and implementation

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

This position is incentive eligible.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management or a business-related field
  • Nine (9) years of experience in risk management, public accounting, or the financial industry

Preferences

  • Master’s degree in related field
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)

Skills and Competencies

  • Ability to learn additional systems as needed
  • Ability to research, analyze data, and derive facts
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Expert knowledge of enterprise risk management framework and principles
  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Expert verbal, written communication, and organizational skills
  • Expert work ethic and self-motivation

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

$133,041.15 USD

Median:

$182,700.00 USD

Incentive Pay Plans:

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary incentive plan. Employees are eligible to receive a discretionary award based on individual, business, and/or company performance.Opportunity to participate in the Long Term Incentive Plan.
