At Regions, the Real Estate Institutional Fund Group (IFG) Client Manager oversees all facets of the client relationship including relationship management, portfolio oversight, strategic advisory, and financial and risk management, serving institutional clients across private funds, investment managers, and alternative providers.
Primary Responsibilities
- Serves as primary relationship manager for a portfolio of top institutional fund clients, maintaining active dialogue with senior executives
- Drives business development in strategic product areas including subscription lines, repo lines, note on note financing and DST facilities
- Offers other bespoke fund-level financing and liquidity solutions that meet evolving investor and sponsor needs
- Partners closely with Capital Markets, Loan Syndications, and other product specialists to deliver comprehensive solutions across debt, treasury, and advisory services
- Achieves annual revenue, loan growth, and non-interest revenue targets through disciplined pipeline management and execution
- Oversees portfolio quality with a focus on risk adjusted returns, capital efficiency, and discipline structuring
- Identifies emerging risks in fund finance markets and positions the IFG portfolio accordingly
- Positions the bank as a preferred partner to institutional real estate funds and alternative capital managers
- Partners with senior REB and Corporate Banking leadership to refine go-to-market strategies for institutional clients
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
This position is incentive eligible.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Eight (8) years of experience in commercial real estate banking, fund finance, or related institutional lending
- Proven ability to originate, structure, and execute complex financing transactions with institutional clients
- Deep knowledge of fund structures, alternative investment strategies, and market dynamics
Preferences
- Series 79 and 63 preferred

This position will require daily, on-site attendance at our Charlotte, NC or Dallas, TX location.
This position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience.
Compensation Details
Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
