At Regions, the MarTech Strategy and Marketing Portfolio Senior Manager leads the development and implementation of marketing technology platforms and tools, as well as collaborates with Marketing Communications on marketing initiatives requiring support from Technology, Data and Analytics, and/or Digital teams. This position contributes to Regions’ efforts in attracting new customers and ensuring relevant and effective experiences, as well as data-driven decision making for overall marketing strategy.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Develops, defines, and delivers Regions’ marketing technology roadmap that is designed for ease of use, automation, and speed to market
  • Develops, drives, and implements marketing technology platforms and tools
  • Aligns efforts with Regions’ strategic vision of generating “always on” and personalized marketing offers
  • Ensures marketing technology enables seamless digital customer experiences that are personalized and relevant
  • Manages annual budget, recommending adjustments, when necessary, as a result of research and evolving technology needs
  • Collaborates with key stakeholders on marketing technology needs
  • Continuously monitors trends and developments in the market, as well as peers and related offerings and marketing strategies
  • Manages adoption and change management related to migrations from legacy platforms to new, modernized platforms with enhanced capabilities
  • Collaborates with Risk to ensure proper risk reviews are conducted on proposed marketing technology platforms and tools
  • Manages compliance with internal and external policies, guidelines, and regulations
  • Collaborates with Marketing Communications team to capture, summarize, score (value vs. effort), and properly direct all Marketing initiatives that require support from Technology, Data and Analytics, and/or Digital

This position is exempt from overtime requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

This position is incentive eligible.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
  • Eight (8) years of experience in Marketing or related field, preferably in banking and/or financial services
  • Five (5) years of experience in project management
  • Five (5) years of experience leading enterprise initiatives
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and best practices
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional business groups

Preferences

  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Master’s in Marketing
  • Experience with business writing and/or request-for-proposal (RFP) writing
  • Formal change management and/or project management certifications
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

Job Range Target:

Minimum:

$149,338.20 USD

50th Percentile:

$190,080.00 USD

Incentive Pay Plans:

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary incentive plan. Employees are eligible to receive a discretionary award based on individual, business, and/or company performance.Opportunity to participate in the Long Term Incentive Plan.
