Job Description:
At Regions, the Consumer Product Manager Team Manager oversees a team of Product Managers and guides product strategy, execution, and performance to drive innovation and ensure alignment with business goals across consumer banking products. The Team Manager also provides strategic oversight of end-to-end product ownership, enabling the team to deliver impactful solutions that balance customer needs, business outcomes, and risk considerations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Leads and mentors a team of Product Managers across consumer banking product lines
- Develops and executes product strategies that enhance customer experience and drives growth
- Monitors customer feedback, market trends, and competitive insights to inform product development
- Guides the team in balancing risk, revenue, and customer/associate experience across product areas
- Supports initiative prioritization and delivery, partnering with cross-functional teams to define requirements, go-to-market activities and launch plans
- Manages sales information, projections, and other meaningful data and prepares forecasts on market evolution and company products
- Tracks product performance and financial metrics, using data and feedback to drive continuous improvement
- Works with sales teams to identify and implement appropriate sales strategies to identify opportunities
- Ensures all products comply with regulatory standards and internal risk policies
- Performs general management duties, exercising usual authority concerning staffing, performance reviews, promotions, and terminations
- May also review business competitive data, coordinate development of management reporting and manage appropriate pricing grids
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
This position is incentive eligible.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
- Ten (10) years of market research, product development/management or related experience
Preferences
- Master's degree
- Experience within the financial industry or with a banking institution
- Product management experience
