At Regions, the Business Transformation Manager manages the delivery lifecycle of large, enterprise transformation efforts, including strategy, definition, execution and deployment. This position leads and manages transformation programs, responsible for delivering high quality solutions, managing executive relationships and developing junior associates. This position will be a key agent in our efforts to define, drive and achieve our transformational vision.
Primary Responsibilities
- Translates the strategic direction and business objectives into holistic strategies and actions
- Designs and leads one or more programs throughout the execution of the Bank’s multi-year comprehensive transformation efforts
- Works creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment, apply business subject expertise and quantitative analysis to identify and resolve program opportunities
- Develops and improves enterprise processes, policies, systems, tools and resources related to enterprise program management and ensures adherence to program guidelines
- Defines, develops and manages the overall program schedule, risks and dependencies to ensure that work is assigned, tracked and completed on time and within budget
- Provides strategic consultant direction/guidance to business leaders and project management teams across the organization to improve consistency and efficiency of execution related to the transformation efforts
- Identifies and analyzes key performance indicators and quantitative data to assess workstream and program health and performance, and to define and implement actions to positively impact execution and performance
- Partners with business leaders and key stakeholders from across the organization to ensure successful inclusion of their interests and execution of their efforts within the overall transformation efforts
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
This position is incentive eligible.
Requirements
- Master’s of Business Administration and eight (8) years of transformation or project management experience
- Or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field and eight (8) years of directly related experience in business transformation at a top tier consulting firm, e.g. Mckinsey, BCG, Bain, Deloitte, PwC, E&Y
- Or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field and ten (10) years of transformation or project management experience
- Five (5) years of project management experience
- Demonstrated experience across enterprise businesses
Preferences
- Master of Business Administration (MBA) of closely related
- Experience at a top 5 consulting firm is highly valued and may substitute two of the eight years for traditional transformation experience due to the depth, scale, and strategic impact of work performed in these environments
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Five (5) years of banking or financial services experience

- Excellent presentation skills with ability to simplify and communicate complex data to stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Experience in the leadership of program documentation
- Proficient with MS Office Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams
- Strong interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills
- Strong process improvement skills/experience
Compensation Details
Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
