At Regions, the Home Improvement Financing Senior Collections Representative is responsible for the daily collection process, which includes communications with customers at all levels of delinquency. This position handles complex issues and serves as a resource to associates with less experience.
Regions Home Improvement Financing, a division of Regions Bank, engages in strategic partnerships with home-improvement manufacturers, distributors, franchisors, trade groups, and independent contractors to provide Point-of-Sale financing capabilities. This enables these partners to provide homeowners with an additional option to pay for various improvements to their homes, benefitting both the contractor partner and the homeowner.
Primary Responsibilities
- Contacts customers by phone or other methods to resolve delinquent status of accounts
- Answers complex customer questions
- Consults customers to available payment options
- Documents outcomes and actions taken
- Assists in the development of written procedures
- Serves as a resource to associates with less experience
- May provide guidance on complex or escalated issues
This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime for hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Three (3) years of collections or related experience
Preferences
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
Skills and Competencies
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Ability to work on a team
- Good Microsoft Office Suite skills
- Excellent customer service and collections skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of collections software
This position is only available onsite in Salt Lake City, Utah.
A full time schedule of 40 hours, Monday through Friday during business hours is expected.
A monthly bonus incentive on top of base hourly pay is available to earn for all associates in this role.
This position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience.
Compensation Details
Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
