At Regions, the Corporate Security Executive Protection Function Manager oversees a comprehensive security plan for the Chief Executives of the Bank, the Board of Directors, dignitaries, high profile guests of the Bank, and their families. This position reports to Corporate Security senior management and is a single incumbent position.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provides protective escort services and accompanies designated executives on all movements
  • Initiates emergency response actions in the event of crises, emergencies, or threats to designated executives
  • Conducts security threats assessments while reviewing the daily schedule and projected travel itinerary of executives
  • Performs logistical support for executives’ movements by coordinating with hosts, staff, drivers, and others to ensure seamless and consistent application of protective security measures
  • Liaises with federal, state, local and international law enforcement to accomplish protective security objectives
  • Participates in physical security programs to include corporate facilities, residence and hotels, charter aircraft, special events, and ground and air transportation
  • Conducts protective advance operations
  • Provides body cover to mitigate risk
  • Manage the corporate security case management system by establishing and maintaining structures, processes and controls
  • Manages the corporate Suspicious Activity Reporting (SAR)

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

This is a single incumbent position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Four (4) years experience or eight (8) years experience in personal/protective security, corporate security, safety, military, or law enforcement

Certifications/Licensures

  • Firearms certification or be able to be trained to handle firearms and obtain certifications
  • Must be able to complete semi-annual firearm requalification
  • Must be able to carry a firearm in performance of duties
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally with executives
  • Must have valid driver’s license and current U.S. Passport

Skills and Competencies

  • Basic Microsoft Word and PowerPoint proficiency
  • Good judgement and decision making skills
  • Proficient in protective intelligence
  • Strong knowledge of Federal, State, and Local laws
  • Review and assess PI data and develop mitigation strategies
  • Lead event security teams in a matrixed manner
  • Ability to work late nights, early mornings, and weekends
  • Initiative-taker, self-motivated and able to operate with minimum supervision

Compensation Details

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.

The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.

$99,250.25 USD

50th Percentile:

$121,730.00 USD

Incentive Pay Plans:
