At Regions, the Enterprise Operations Paralegal provides professional legal support to attorneys through legal research, drafting legal and business communications, and general file management.
Primary Responsibilities
- Coordinates with internal and/or external counsel regarding litigation or threatened litigation matters
- Communicates with appropriate internal parties to resolve legal issues or acquire documentation
- Reviews and prepares documents relating to litigation or threatened litigation, occasionally in response to discovery demands
- Reviews and organizes documents received or presented from opposing parties
- May prepare exhibit sets for depositions, hearings, and/or trials
This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime for hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED and two (2) years of legal experience
- OR a Paralegal Certificate
Applicants will be expected to pass any assessment associated with the position
Skills and Competencies
- Data entry and typing skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Strong time management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Work Hours : Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
Compensation Details
Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
