At Regions, the Loan Fulfillment Specialist performs a variety of operational tasks within Loan Fulfillment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Receives and reviews incoming work, contacting appropriate resources as needed
- Performs data entry and loan applications into the appropriate systems transactions
- Resolves customer or associate inquiries as necessary
- Prepares, edits, distributes, and/or corrects specialized and/or complex documents
- Researches and resolves loan related issues which may include missing payments, disputed accounts history requests and general loan related questions
- Works under limited supervision following established guidelines and procedures
This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime for hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two (2) years of banking or related work experience
Preferences
- Knowledgeable of loan operations activities
Skills and Competencies
- Data entry and typing skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
- Strong time management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

Additional Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review and issue disclosures in compliance with regulations in a timely manner
- Validate loan fees, terms and data entered in LOS before generating disclosures
- Communicate with loan officers regarding missing or incorrect information
- Stay up to date on regulatory changes impacting disclosures
Additional Knowledge & Skills:
- Strong understanding of federal and state mortgage disclosure regulations (TRID, RESPA, TILA, HMDA, ECOA)
- Familiarity with mortgage loan origination system (Empower) or similar
- Excellent time management to meet strict disclosure timeline to meet regulatory requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail orientated with ability to analyze loan documents, fees and closing costs to ensure for accuracy and compliance
Additional Education & Experience:
- Prior experience with TRID and other mortgage compliance regulations preferred
- Prior experience with issuing mortgage disclosures preferred
Compensation Details
Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
