At Regions, the Home Improvement Financing Customer Outreach Specialist is responsible for performing calls to customers who have home improvement loan(s) with Home Improvement Financing and helping ensure contractor and customer relationships are strong.
Regions Home Improvement Financing, a division of Regions Bank, engages in strategic partnerships with home-improvement manufacturers, distributors, franchisors, trade groups, and independent contractors to provide Point-of-Sale financing capabilities. This enables these partners to provide homeowners with an additional option to pay for various improvements to their homes, benefitting both the contractor partner and the homeowner.
Primary Responsibilities
- Performs calls for applications with home improvement loans that the Bank would like to further review
- Processes Positive Confirmation (PC) calls and extra steps associated with PC calls in a timely manner to limit delaying payment to the contactor
- Reviews and updates each account as needed
- Maintains high level of customer service and accuracy in all job functions
- Meets required production levels for call quality and quantity
- Returns email and voicemail communications promptly
- Recommends appropriate action if further review is necessary and raises any observations or concerns to Management, Sales, Credit, and/or Customer Relations in a timely fashion as needed
This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- One (1) year of customer service or related experience

Preferences
- At least two years of customer service experience, whether from prior employment or from a service-related role.
- Comfortable taking and making phone calls, professional, self-starter, and comfortable navigating multiple systems.
Work Hours:
Flexible schedule, department hours are from 7am to 7pm (MT), must be able to work until 7pm (MT).
Compensation Details
Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
