At Regions, the Training Specialist administers, organizes, and conducts training and educational programs in connection with management and promotional development, on-the-job training, and employee orientation. This position also maintains records of training activities and employee progress and monitors effectiveness.
Primary Responsibilities
- Conducts training and continuing education for all associates as assigned
- Formulates teaching outline and determines instructional methods
- Assesses trainees to measure progress and to evaluate effectiveness of training
- Develops training curriculum and department training calendar
- Provides one-on-one coaching/training for associates who need more personalized attention
- Attends various projects team meetings responsible for developing new products or planning upgrades to existing products
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of related experience
- Or Associate's degree and five (5) years of related experience
- Or High School Diploma or GED and seven (7) years of related experience
Skills and Competencies
- Ability to assess training needs and objectives
- Ability to design, develop, implement, and evaluate responsive programs and initiatives including training plans, curricula, and methodology
- Advanced knowledge of implementation and facilitation of technical, operational, and/or specialty training events and programs
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Teaching and facilitation skills
This position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience.
This role works closely with our Loan Servicing Team.
Schedule of Role:
Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm
Compensation Details
Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
