Job Title: Worship Coordinator
Hourly: 25 hours per week; should only exceed to 29 hours per special permission.
Purpose of the Job:
Under the direction and leadership of the campus Worship Director, assist in leading worship experiences, help with administrative responsibilities, and assist with worship team member care.
Experience and Knowledge Required:
- Minimum of 2 years of worship leading in a local church.
- Ability to handle multiple projects effectively.
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Dropbox and/or Power Point.
- Ability to learn and use Rock software.
- Ability to learn and use Planning Center Online software.
- Ability to learn and use Ableton software.
- Proficiency in voice and/or an instrument for personal use, and team/leader instruction.
- Ability to assist with and coordinate worship experiences.
Functions and Responsibilities:
- Assist Worship Director in scheduling worship team for services.
- Assist Worship Director in posting worship sets.
- Assist Worship Director in scheduling and implementing Development each week.
- Assist in the coaching of those in Development to successfully graduate new members.
- Add pastoral support to worship team members, as is appropriate.
- Assist with the development of worship team leaders and developers.
- Assist in recruitment for Development to grow the members of Highlands Worship.
- Help in the coordination and planning of quarterly community nights for the worship team.
- Assist in management of administrative duties including purchases, reimbursements, and receipts for worship team members and worship events.
- Assist in facilitating vocal/band auditions and interviews.
- Assist in leading church worship services.
- Assist with weekly rehearsals and holiday services/rehearsals.
- Assist Worship Director with keeping up to date information on all campus Worship Dream Team.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
- All other worship specific duties as assigned by Campus Pastor, Worship Director and Central Worship Department leaders.
- You may choose to be involved with other services and opportunities outside of your campus role responsibilities to reach your hours. These extra serves or opportunities must never result in going over your hours or replace your campus requirements, as they are your first priority.
