Purpose of this Position:

This position is for an Outreach Assistant to serve alongside the Outreach Director and Outreach Coordinator of Grants Mill to help grow a healthy Outreach Team by developing leadership, maintaining day to day operations, and recruiting new team members.

Campus Duties and Responsibilities:

Attend Grants Mill campus meetings

Serve at Grants Mill campus events such as not limited to Serve Day, Giving Hope, First Saturday serves, etc.

Department Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage Grants Mill Outreach email, return calls, and direct emails to appropriate people.

Help manage Outreach budget.

Help onboard new team members from Rock at Dream Team Kickoff

Help lead the set up teams and be available for other serve projects happening at Grants Mill on First Saturday.

Manage all receipts and purchase orders for Outreach.

Follow up on all Serve connection cards

Coordinate and order supplies and food for serves and events

Manage rosters for outreach teams by helping leaders keep them up to date

Help prepare, set up for team meetings

Help maintain and keep Outreach and shared spaces clean and organized

Graduate of Highlands College or equivalent is a plus, but not required.

Experience in problem solving

Proficient in necessary computer skills such as but not limited to: Word, Excel, Monday.com, Outlook and the capacity to learn other needed skills required in coordinating duties

Exceptional time management organizational and prioritization skills with a particular emphasis on follow-through and attention to detail

Ability to think and act independently with a degree of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality
