Job Summary

Brasfield & Gorrie is building an early interest pipeline for upcoming work at Plant Bowen near Cartersville, Georgia. This posting is intended for experienced candidates who want to be considered as hiring activity ramps up for upcoming project work. We are currently seeking interest from qualified candidates for the following roles: Field Engineers / Construction Surveyors, Heavy Equipment Operators, Pipe Layers / Pipe Fitters, Concrete Carpenters, and Carpenters. Plant Bowen is located in Bartow County, Georgia, near Cartersville.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in one of the listed trades or field engineering / construction surveying
• Experience on industrial, power, heavy civil, structural concrete, underground mechanical, or large commercial construction projects preferred
• Ability to read plans, work safely, and support production in an active jobsite environment
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to meet project hiring, onboarding, and safety requirements
• Willingness to work the jobsite schedule required
  
  

Education - Skills - Knowledge - Qualifications & Experience

Field Engineers / Construction Surveyors

• Experience with layout, control, surveying, and field support on large construction projects
• Ability to interpret drawings and coordinate field layout with operations teams
  
  

Heavy Equipment Operators

• Experience operating equipment safely and productively on active jobsites
• Heavy civil, industrial, or power experience preferred
  
  

Pipe Layers / Pipe Fitters

• Experience with underground utility, mechanical piping, or industrial piping installation
• Utility, industrial, or large-scale project experience preferred
  
  

Concrete Carpenters / Carpenters

• Experience with formwork, layout, concrete systems, or general carpentry on commercial, industrial, or civil projects
